CLINICAL SUPERVISION FOR THERAPISTS
No one becomes a fully formed clinician overnight.
DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?
✓ You’re feeling intimidated or overwhelmed at the licensure process.
✓ You’re leaving graduate school feeling unprepared or intimidated for 1:1 clinical work.
✓ You’ve decided to start the licensure process after time in the field and make a career pivot.
✓ You’re not sure about the quality of fit with your current supervisor.
✓ You want supportive feedback but fear judgement or worry about “getting it wrong.”
✓ You deeply care about your clients but don’t always trust your clinical instincts
The process of starting or transitioning to clinical work can be nerve-wracking.
As a supervisor, I want to support you in moving from theory to application. Going from the text book to the real world can be a leap. I can support you in translating material and trainings to clinical work. Be it a DSM-5 diagnosing, treatment planning, compliant note taking, and actually providing interventions with the client.
I’ve been there, and I had a few different experiences that emphasized the special and important dynamic between the clinician and the supervisor. We can work on growing your confidence and quitting the imposter syndrome.
